Project 365 #094 - Roald Dahl a literal genius

Day 094 - Firstly I want to start by saying a massive thank you to Sofia for featuring me on her blog.  I can't explain how chuffed I was to see myself over on someone elses blog it put a massive smile on my face and really made me feel so honoured that she thought my blog was worthy of a mention so thank you so much.  And hello to the new followers I have gained

The Book People make regular visits to the hospital that I work in and this time they brought in some real gems with them including this 15 book box set by Roald Dahl, who in my eyes is the Messiah of children's books.  My neice turns 7 in May and is a total bookworm and so I immediately thought of her when I saw it.  It also brought back fond memories of reading them as a child myself. These books retail at £93.85 (whoa calm down!) but the lovely Book People are selling them for the bargain price of £16 (yes you read that right SIXTEEN pounds) that works out at about £1.07 per book, amazing right?!

Right I'm off now to catch up on Katie (I love to hate that girl)

Keep Smiling

  6. Roald Dahl, all the way. Love Danny Champion of the World, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Witches. Brill price you got the collection for and lovely to see illustrations still going strong too. Quentin Blake is as much a genius as Mr Dahl.

I always love how books can change someones day around, especially lovely children's books! I've really loved looking around and learning more about you, now following and would love to see you around as well :) Keep on blogging x

  17. I adore Roald Dahl! I think my old books were sold at a boot fair by my Mum years ago so I've been gradually getting the collection back together thanks to eBay. I prefer the old school covers.

I used to read Matilda cover to cover weekly. Was a little obsessed in fact!! BFG is also a big fave x
