Heres a round up of what I've been loving throughout September.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya 42 - I have a couple of these lip butters and they are a dreamy creamy sensation. This colour is definitely my favourite and I wore it pretty much everyday through September. My only problem is I never reapply any of my lip products throughout the day. I put it on in the morning and that's it for the day I'm going to make it my mission to try and reapply throughout October!

Eyelash curlers - it's amazing what a difference curling your eyelashes can do for you. I've recently started doing this again (after being too lazy to do it for a while) and seriously it adds on about 15 seconds to my application routine and makes my lashes look longer and my eyes brighter.  These ones I think I bought from Superdrug donkeys ago!

Batiste XXL volume dry shampoo - this gives volume like no other.  I have quite thick hair but it can sometimes look a bit flat at the root. I spray this onto my roots and ruffle it up with my fingertips and voila volumised textured hair. Perfect for my shorter do.

Roses and Rolltops - I've been following Rebecca via Instagram since her house was featured in Ideal Home around June time. I then watched her beautiful wedding take shape on 3rd July (the very same day Fletch was diagnosed with T1 diabetes). She started a blog in August documenting her wedding, beautiful house and love of travel and I'm hooked. Rebecca just seems like such a lovely genuine girl.
From Gem with Love - I've followed Gem's blog for YEARS! It was one of the first blogs I started to follow. The best way I can describe Gem is as an English Rose, she is beautiful! Her photography is incredible and I adore the way she writes. She's so real and down to earth and I wish her all the best with her new photography venture.

Black Jeggings Dorothy Perkins  - definitely my most worn item for September. They are so comfy and stretchy and black goes with everything.
Havaianas - As we had the mildest September in history I was able to wear my Havaianas for a large portion of it. These are the BEST flip flops. I have another pair which are years old and still look brand new.

Movie/TV show

New Girl - I had a ton of these on my sky planner to watch (we got a bit caught up with Breaking Bad you see). I love how stupid and funny this is and Zooey Deschanel is my ultimate girl crush

Butterkist Salted Popcorn - I love salted popcorn with a passion and love nothing more than having shrivelled up lips from all the salt. This stuff usually comes out on movie night (which is typically a Friday or Saturday) Dylan loves sweet though so we have to alternate between the two, marriage is all about compromise after all. Butter popcorn on the other hand is YUK!

Taylor Swift Shake it off - hands down my favourite song of the month. I love the music video too, I've got a lot of time for someone who can take the piss out of themselves.  Taylor can do no wrong in my eyes.

Nose piercing - I had been toying with the idea of getting my nose pierced for a while (it's all Amy from The Little Magpie fault) and I decided it's now or never really as I'm 30 and it kinda seems like a mid life crisis or something but hey whatever, I did it and I love it.
Going Brunette - I said goodbye to the ombre right at the end of September.  It was time for it to go, I felt ready for healthy brunette locks for Autumn and I'm so glad I did because my hair is really thankful for it.

What have you been loving lately?

Keep Smiling

  1. You really suit a nose piercing! Loving the darker hair too Xx

  2. You must try Tesco sweet and salted popcorn, the best of both worlds. Very moreish though x
