Its Thursday morning, its the school holidays and i'm currently sat at my desk typing this in my pjs with a coffee whilst Fletcher watches the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie.....pure bliss. If only I could do this every day. I love the beauty of slow mornings, the prospect of the day ahead, planning fun and exciting things to do on our days off.
Today the plan is to go to the Lost Garden's of Heligan in St Austell to check out the Easter Activities and see the newborn lambs. But before all that can happen I need to wash my hair, get ready for the day, pick up my Tesco shop and get the washing out on the line (when the load finishes doing it thing in the machine) all the other chores will have to wait until later.
Whilst i'm here, can we briefly just discuss the gingham trend. I picked up this little beauty from New Look a couple of weeks ago. It caught my eye the second I stepped into the store. I mean not only is it gingham but it also has ruffles......hell thats 2 trends all rolled into one, i'm like a fashion mogul now surely. Unfortunately it appears to have sold out online but check your stores as there were TONS of them in my local store in Truro. If you fancy gingham with a twist then there is also a floral version of the same top here which I think looks absolutely stunning too.
I wore this out last Saturday for a disastrous meal with the girls. The food and the service at the restaurant we went to was awful, i've never experienced anything like it before. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food (which had been pre ordered), the food was cold, my sisters chicken was pink in the middle, they didn't give us any cutlery, we could hear the waitress swearing! It was absolutely awful. Thankfully we didn't have to pay for our terrible food and the night ended at McDonalds drive thru where the guy apologised for our 2 minute wait for our burger - ironic hey!
