Its safe to say May has been an incredibly busy month for me. I wasn't expecting to complete my Level 2 Beauty Therapy course as early as May but I did and I definitely put a lot of pressure on myself to do so. This meant that for the last 4 weeks I have done nothing but work or study in my free time.  Last Saturday was my last day in college and I came down with a terrible cough/cold a couple of days before so I was too poorly to even celebrate completing my course (I made up for that this weekend though with a couple of G&Ts in the garden). I vowed that I would make the most of this Bank Holiday Weekend as I felt so rough last week.

We spent the majority of the weekend outside enjoying some vitamin sea.  We're so lucky to live so close to some rather amazing beaches in Cornwall and i'm never happier than when I have sand in between my toes and salty beach hair.  Honestly though the beach is my happy place (along with New York and Florida, but they are not as easily accessible).  I also managed to do a spot of gardening, catch up with all my laundry (when does that ever happen) oh and Fletcher was very kindly given his cousins old trampoline which he is loving to bits.

Other things that happened over the weekend - 30th birthday party, an epic lie-in, slow mornings, washed my car, ice cream, sandcastles, dipping my feet in the sea, BBQ, 2 movie nights, a visit to the lake, Pretty Little Liars and just generally having a wonderful time.

I hope your weekend was full of love and laughter

OK so can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful Gemporia's new range of personalised jewellery is!  I'm literally swooning over that rose gold bracelet.

The new collection just recently launched last month and offers a gorgeous selection of bracelets, rings and necklaces using precious metals with a mix of 11 genuine gemstones all of which can be personalised with an engraved name, phrase, date or even a hand drawn image making it a unique one of a kind piece of jewellery.

You can pick any words you like and watch your piece of jewellery come to life right in front of your eyes, picking the font and text size that you prefer.  These pieces really would make the perfect gift for someone special or maybe just for yourself. I think the necklaces would be so cute with just some simple initials and the rings with a memorable date.

I just love all the rose gold............so pretty!

Ok so I must apologise that i've been MIA on the blog front for the past couple of weeks but I have been Marie Kondo-ing the crap out of my life!  If you don't know who Marie Kondo is then she has a book called The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying.  I read it months ago and it instantly made me  tidy up EVERYTHING! Every so often I get the sudden urge to declutter like crazy. Last week it was Fletcher's bedroom, this week it has been my garden shed.  Not only that but i've been frantically bashing out assignments for my Beauty Therapy Course because I'm determined to finish it 2 months early.  There's nothing like putting a load of pressure on yourself.

What else is new?.............we booked a holiday to Gran Canaria for July this year which I am insanely excited about.  It took us forever and a day to decide where to go but we decided that Gran Canaria has good weather all summer and as long as there is a beach closeby and the hotel has a pool then Fletcher will be more than happy.

I pressure washed my paving stones yesterday, turns out its pretty addictive, I ended up pressure washing my doorstep, the whole of my pathway and my coving oh and some of my wall. And my shoulders got suburnt in the process.

Anyhoo this blogpost has nothing to do with the pictures but hey here's an outfit I wore about 2 weeks ago. I've linked all the items.

Have a great weekend
